Emergency Treatment
A significant portion of our budget goes to helping animals in distress who need immediate veterinary care. With the assistance of local vets who donate their time and services at cost, we help those animals that would likely suffer greatly or even die without our help. With this care and your donations, we are helping to treat many, many street dogs and cats and even pets owned by Dominicans or Haitians who could not afford the care that their pets need.
Our amazing volunteers run across so many different situations and we could not help these animals without their assistance and your financial support. Our volunteers have helped animals burned alive, hit by machetes, hit by motorcycles, poisoned, suffering from cancer, struggling through a tough labor, wounded in a dog fight, and much more.
Thanks to all our volunteers, donors, and vets for helping out in these situations.
